Don’t Be Afraid

In a conversation with New York Times’ David Gelles, Nextdoor CEO Sarah Friar shares a lesson she learned from Twitter’s Jack Dorsey: “don’t be afraid to fail in public,” he told her. “Failing, it’s one of the things I find hardest. But when you get things wrong and can be frank about it in front of other people, it gives you strength.”
